I still think using stock shocks with stiffer aftermarket springs is stupid, so I wouldn't recommend putting the GCs on without aftermarket adjustable shocks anyway. To answer your question above - if you lower the car, but the shock bodies are still the same length, you are taking away the amount of travel the shock can see. For instance, in VERY basic terms, say you have a shock that is 12" long on the car - the shock body is 7". You'd have 5" (we'll just say there are no bumpstops) that the shock shaft can travel. Now you lower that car, leaving yourself with only 10" of total shock length. The body is still that 7", so you now only have 3" of shock travel. Ya dig?
